Dear Indian Land Elementary School family,

Brrr…. Winter has definitely arrived!!! We are having a great start to our week at ILE! I hope you can join us for some of the fun!

Our school district is moving to a new e-mail system. As of February 1 our current e-mail system will be shut down. Please begin using our new e-mail addresses today! My new e-mail is Beth.Blum@lcsdmail.net All staff members e-mails are the same format firstname.lastname@lcsdmail.net Please bear with us as we get used to this change!! Thanks!!

Our next Dine Out night is this Wednesday, 1/25 from 11am to 9pm at Sub Station II (next to Harris Teeter) at 6257 Carolina Commons Drive. Free drinks to Indian Land students with a sub purchase. When ordering please specify that you are with ILES. 15% of the proceeds will benefit ILES PTA. Let’s support the area businesses that support our school!

Thanks for all of your interest in bringing “Leader in Me” to ILE. Please plan to attend our next School Improvement Council meeting on January 30 at 6:30pm in our Media Center. We will be discussing the implementation of “Leader in Me” and need your input!

Science Fair projects are due from all third through fifth grade students by Wednesday, January 25. No late projects will be accepted. Display boards are still available in the office for $4.

All fourth grade students will be involved in our Swimming program at USC-L in the next few months. The swimming lessons will be held at USC-L during the school day. This is a wonderful opportunity for ILE!!

also pay 50 cents to wear a hat. All hat

money will go to the Alzheimer’s

Association this month.

to return the order form and money if you

would like to purchase a class picture.

Attention ILES!
	Do you drink Coke or Coke products? If so, you can help our school by collecting Coke Reward Points and donating them to Indian Land Elementary. The process is EASY!
	Did you know that we earned over $5,000 last year by redeeming Box Tops for Education? Please continue collecting Box Tops and sending them in.
	This year we are also adding additional collections: Campbell's Soup Labels and used/empty ink cartridges, laser cartridges, toner, and old cell phones.
